Took at BASIC class on a TRS-80 Model III at age 11. Got a TRS-80 CoCo I
(with the silver case and chiclet keyboard) at age 12. Took CAD architecture
free study senior year in high school. Never took another computer class
again, but was always a geek hobbyist. Did the BBS thing for years.

I had an Amstrad luggable PC in '89-'91, then got a 386 in '91. I had a
couple of jobs where I ended up being the computer guy by dint of knowing
more about computers than everyone else in the office.

I saw the future of the Internet in 1993 and went into the industry
professionally in early 1995. Got CF 1.5 and never looked back.
