Also not to speak for David. For me, I presume it goes back to the segregation of the last century. Why should blacks have been adverse to different schools then whites. Because those schools where largely inferior and drastically so. That didn't work out all that well, and I think most of us don't think this will be any better. As long as civil unions are different then marriages those differences can be exploited for discrimination. Make *all* government marriage contracts civil unions and things could be equal. Don't think this is a problem, note that the Texas amendment of a couple of years ago specifically excluded civil unions as well as gay marriages. I.E. Those against this in that state where successfully in denying this right in any form no matter what it was called. And that just does not sound like equality to me. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Adobe® ColdFusion® 8 software 8 is the most important and dramatic release to date Get the Free Trial http://ad.doubleclick.net/clk;207172674;29440083;f Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-community/message.cfm/messageid:278982 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-community/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=11502.10531.5
