Holding a medicine ball over our head during a squat eh? We'll have to try
that as well.

When I first started lunges, I couldn't get through 4 short ones. Then I had
to walk up stairs. OMG. I thought I was never going to walk normally again.
Now I can do 24 of them like it was nothing. I switch em up between short
and long since the longer the lunge, the more of your glutes it engages...
from what I'm told. :)
