I'm not saying the pirates are extremists ... TODAY. I'm saying the extremists could USE THEM and their "cause" to stir up all kinds of trouble. And the fact that last Monday the pirates didn't claim responsibility for the airport shooting last Monday but are today is hopefully meaningful to you. My point is, it's already happening: every Somali group and their brother is using the killings to their PR advantage and they will continue too. I'm simply pointing out that we'd be fools to underestimate the power of the Robin Hood myth or AQ (or others) to use world news event to their great advantage. Would anyone have thought prior to 9/11 that airplanes would be flown into buildings (except the analysts that warned Bush)?
