This is an unrealistic analogy. Most healthcare providers who 'accept' insurance form certain carriers must agree to a certain rate for certain procedures. So, while the dentist may normally charge $45 for a cleaning, he has agreed to accept $25 for the procedure from your insurance company. I am sure if you tried to haggle for your teeth cleaning, you might find a dentist who would agree to those terms. -- Scott Stroz --------------- The DOM is retarded. http://xkcd.com ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Want to reach the ColdFusion community with something they want?
