Recently 5 kids (18-24) from northern Virginia were arrested in
Pakistan trying to hook up with AQ. Aside from being of Pakistani
descent, they did not fit your profile, all being university students
or graduates. In the case of the Christmas bomber, he did not fit your
profile, the guy was an engineering student. John Lindh also on the
surface would not have fit your profiling. There's also the case of
those 10 kids in Toronto a few years back. In all these cases there
are some communalities, they are all well educated, and well off (one
of them was a Nigerian banker's kid). So what happened? they should be
the ones with very strong ties to society. Figure out why they are so
willing to sacrifice all, then AQ and its branches are essentially
defeated.
