I'm sorry I thought we were discussing the World Cup. You want a discussion
on football by and large. Well it's consistent enough. It's a size #5 ball
of approximately the average weight and behaviour. It's as consistent as any
other aspect of the game. Players have myriad boot types to choose from.
Some play on dirt pitches, most are grass and some are turf. Some grass is
cut in squares, some concentric cirlces and some in lines. The pitch size
varies some though the official size is always the same.

I understand what you're trying to do, but it's not working. That was viv
making the argument about no video tech due to consistency at all levels,
not me.
