"I think it's time for Congress to join the ranks of employers who won't let
their employees use social media."

I couldn't disagree more.

Social media gives congressmen a new means to communicate with their
constituents. It punches holes in the insulation surrounding DC.

Banning social media wouldn't be a fix anyway. It wouldn't make a
dishonorable congressman honorable. It would just force him or her to find
an alternate method to act inappropriately.

I would say it is time for congressmen to act responsibility and represent
their constituents honorably.

I would also say it is time for the people to elect congressmen who they can
be proud of and who will represent them instead of a party, a special
interest group, or a their own agenda.

I know, pie in the sky.
