I looked at the Kindles.. the small version (similar to the Nook) and the DX. DX size all the same. All my textbooks for school are PDF. I typically will rotate the Kindle to 'landscape' to be able to read small text..stupid old eyes. For what it was designed for....an eBook reader...it is a great device. If you need to do more, its not for you.
