Actually, I find it refreshing that Obama makes it known he has a
favorite team (regardless of the sport). To me, it makes President
Obama seem more down to earth. Maybe that is why he does it, who
knows.

Seems kind of phony when politicians try to fake not having a favorite
team.. For example, President Bush (The Younger) used to be part owner
of the Texas Rangers. I would find it hard to believe he was not a fan
of the team, but, as far as I know, he never made it known during his
presidency.
