a virtual machine is your friend if you cannot break the ties to Windows.

Builder has a CF-Studio like (emphasis on like btw) RDS and sql editor
that does much the same as the Studio db tab (mostly, shoulda, coulda
etc). And you can always throw in a SQL plugin if not using Builder.

That said, I have the CS6 package installed but you know I've not
opened up Dreamweaver since then. I just have not had the need, I find
CFBuilder works very well and is some ways is much better.
