The reality is that I personally have used a gun twice to stop violent crime without firing a shot. One rape and one break in. A cheap cz-52.
Read the book More guns, less crime. It lays it all out statistically. In the end though I don't care. I will never give up my weapons. Freedom isn't safe, it takes work and dedication and personal education and responsibility.
