sigh yourself.

First of all, you went off on this rant because I reported what a small
sample of Canadians and Brits who happen to be available to me are in fact
saying. You are free to not like it but that is, nonetheless, what they are
saying. Bite me. I did not say I agreed with them, but now I *am* saying
it. The Republicans -- the party, not its individual members -- are batshit
crazy.

I submit to you that given the Republican candidates constantly shifting
positions you pretty much have to go by the party platform and the choice
of running mate, both of which are deeply alarming when it comes to women's
health issues. Sorry, dude, I think that's pretty damn important and it's
not hyperbole to say so.

I get really tired of being painted as a black and white thinking by people
who haven't been paying attention, Snow White voters who wake up every
three years and nine months to complain that there's no difference between
the candidates. Uh, yeah there *is*.

Nor am I even close to unconditional approval of the Democrat in the race.
In case you are having trouble remembering the last time I was jumping up
and down in here, let me help you out. CISPA. SOPA. NDAA. These are *not* a
few of my favorite things and they will continue to meet my opposition for
whatever nth of a nugget of good it may do.

But I have a daughter. I care about whether she can decide when to make
babies. This matters enough to table my feelings about Obama's indebtedness
to Hollywood and why the hell he felt he had to appeal the NDAA ruling.
Believe me, I'll get back to that, *especially* if this country loses its
mind and elects the weathervan in chief.
