Yep. That's basically how its spelled in English but the name itself is Hebrew. I was raised in a generation where a person had their Hebrew name and an English name. I've never liked the practice as a persons name is their name and no one should be in fear of using it. All my children have a Hebrew name and that's all they're called by. Anyone who calls Shemaryahu Sam or Seth will hear it from me and you all know that I'm a mean, vicious, and vindictive SOB when it comes to protecting my family. :)
