I ended up going out with a girl because I have good Southern manners. I
was friends with her roommate, and would drop by. If her roommate wasn't
there, I'd chat for a few moments before leaving, or entertain her while
waiting. Eventually, she took it into her head that I was coming by to see
her. We became friends. Eventually, I fell for her, but didn't push it
because she had no interest in me. I would occasionally become frustrated
and leave, but I always came back and did my best to treat her as I always
had. The fact that I wasn't trying to convince or pressure her nor did I
just dissappear won her over. Go me!
