Actually little gatherings of snot and germs like that are great.  Sure, 
the kids have perpetual colds, but their immune systems get to be 
bulletproof after a while.  At least, that's what I keep saying to 
reassure myself when I'm running after my 2-year-old with a Kleenex 
during one of those interminable summer runny-nose jags. :)
