Maybe we've crossed wires here - did you read the link?

The point is that most parents (well, reasonable parents) just don't go
to the movies with the infants (I know some do and I hate it as much as
you do).  This is a time when the babies are specifically invited to
attend - so you wouldn't being going, I assume.

This allows us parents concerned with those around us to hit the theater
in an environment that expects it.

In other words this is about when you've been annoyed by kids but rather
business that set up times for parents so that you won't be annoyed by
kids.  ;^)
