Who is the lord-god over societal norms and taboos? You? If you think its weird it should be illegal? The majority? If the majority of people think its weird then it should be illegal?

I've explained my views on the difficulties with same-sex marriage as
law, and I stand by them. Too many people will abuse the law because it
deals with taboos and norms which dumb people feel obligated to violate.
