The only time I ever bring down CF is on my dev box when I write something retarded. My production server provides 5000 reports / pages a day and will often go months without a hitch.

Is that a common practice elsewhere? ~Brad -----Original Message----- From: Andy Matthews [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Friday, September 15, 2006 8:17 AM To: CF-Talk Subject: RE: Reliability I'd be interested in hearing more about this topic too. Our two sysadmins curse CF all the time "because it's buggy and it crashes all the time and it sucks." I know that it CAN'T just be CF and I've asked our owner to bring in a consultant to tune our CF setup but he refuses saying "they know what they're doing, it's just bad code.". There are plenty of cases where it IS bad code, but that can't be the only reason. <!----------------//------ andy matthews ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Introducing the Fusion Authority Quarterly Update. 80 pages of hard-hitting, up-to-date ColdFusion information by your peers, delivered to your door four times a year. http://www.fusionauthority.com/quarterly Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Talk/message.cfm/messageid:253248 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Talk/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=11502.10531.4
