I don't think any insult was meant, but you have to understand that for many companies, this is just one of the things they deal with on a regular basis.
If you have a firewall and were breached, you need to find out how specifically how they got in. If you weren't breached, than for all intents and purposes, no harm... no foul, which by the way is exactly what the FBI or CSIS will tell you.
