Laurent, I'm not sure if I fully understood your question. It sounds like you are tyring to get into SQL Server through Access or at least conscturct a SQL Server database. To really do anything with SQL Server, you must install the SQL Server 2000 software on your machine or the server you are working on. I know access will let you "upgrade" your access database to a SQL Server database, but you must actually connect to a machine that is running the SQL Server software. Access and SQL Server are two seperate different products.
