Hey, they told ME I had to rewrite my code so it'd be 'optimized for CF MX'.
At least you got sent to a message board.

I have contacted support and they turned me over to the message boards
at Macromedia.

They were not that helpful.

If you are running into problems like that I hope you have already been
in touch with tech support so that they can get to the bottom of this.
Of the situations you listed the only one that I am familiar with is
<CFOBJECT> errors (I am assuming you are referring to COM integration).
Not that I am claiming to know of every problem everyone is running
into, but ... if you do have reproducible problems please contact tech
support.

Oh, and I'm pretty fond of CF myself too. :-)

I really hate to be negative about Cold Fusion. I LOVE THIS LANGUAGE! I
live breathe and eat CF!

How about getting regular, good old fashion, MX running first? MX is
the only version that I am ashamed of telling my colleagues that I work
with it.

We continue to have major ODBC/JDBC errors and there has been nothing
said from Macromedia about getting it resolved. CFObject keeps throwing
around errors about methods.... The service crashes up to 8 times a day
on development servers barely under a load....

Help....

Additional J2EE servers are being discussed and considered, but nothing
has been decided yet. Any decisions have to be driven by their sales
potential, so feedback and requests are useful and important. I'll pass
on your vote.

Are there no plans for CFMX for the Oracle9ias J2EE server?

If so, I would volunteer as that is our choice in J2EE application
serving
