I don't think anybody is upset, but for some reason this comes up on both of the car lists that I'm on all the time. There seems to be an urban legend that says that Edelbrock carburetors are actually Carters, or that Edelbrock buys their stuff from Carter, etc. It's just not true. And sure, you can buy a brand new Carter AFB right now if you feel like it. They are still being made but usually a few dollars (literally) more than the Edelbrock counterpart.

I wasn't aware that Carter still made carbs, even so, I stand corrected. I have been misinformed by other list's posts. Since they are identical outside it made sense to me. I didn't mean to upset anyone with this, but I really don't think it counts as an urban legend.
