Remember when everyone called the Quadra-Jet Quadra-Junk? They can't be too
bad. There are millions of them out there and I bet there are still a lot
being used. Same for the Holly I think. I've had several Hollys and have not
had any real serious problems with them. If you set them up out of the box
using a vacume gage it makes life easier. I don't think there is a carb out
there that you can just bolt on and be happy with it's performance. They all
need tweaking. Then again, this is just my opinion but there must be a lot
more that think like me. Holly is still in business and going strong. I feel
if you have to continuealy tune  a Holly or any carb for that matter you
didn't do something right the first time.
