I can't imagine it will take someone more than a few minutes to replicate that issue on a working build to determine whether it is now fixed or not. Just make a directory called Devil~ put a file in it and see if it transfers to a server. The directory likely will, but will the file? If it does prove to be a problem, then I'll be better off with my current server until it is sorted. To rip apart a server and rebuild it, only to have to reverse it again, and then do it all again further down the line ... it is extra work I'm going to be stuck until the 2010-2 build.
