That's a great idea, I'm going to open a case everytime I need an image or every time some web interface is unaccessible!

All that aside, does anyone have a non Cisco pointer or back way in

Echoing Scott's request, if there is an 'off the menu' way to still
access software downloads the old way, I'm all for it.

Accessibility issues aside (perfectly valid points as well), I too have
just today experienced JAVA 'Download Manager' hell. I did voice my
disapproval through the form there and good a polite response back
pointing me to the usual JAVA version caveats. I responded back
(equally politely) that I did test my browser's JAVA plugin and it
claimed I was compliant. The JAVA applet still failed to load.

I subsequently coaxed the JAVA console out of hiding and asked for the
log and traceback, enclosed that too.

In the meantime, I asked my friendly neighbourhood SE about download
alternatives. He suggested I should open a TAC case. Oh dear. I wonder
how many of those are being opened by others as I type this....?

Stop downloading completely; everyone just open TAC cases from now on
when you need an image. That might make it on someone's radar.
