Well in order to bring an bit of clarity to this an often misunderstood
list, the fellow in question did indeed pass his written CCIE hoever not his
lab. We prodded him after he expressed a light hearted concern over not
having any certs to show for all his knowledge and work. Since I knew he is
very sharp, I told him to spend the $100.00 bucks and take the exam. I knew
he would pass and that it would make him feel better. After all, one is
ONLY a CCIE when they have passed both the written and labs. Take care,
