Yes. You do not need to take any prior exams before taking the CCIE (at
least not yet anyway, :-) )
All that you need to do to obtain the CCIE is to pass a written exam,
followed by a two-day lab exam at a Cisco facility. Sounds easy doesn't it?

A friend told me that it is possible for me to skip CCNP and jump straight
to CCIE provided one can financially afford it....Is this true? ..... I need
