In my case the problem was one of those slap on the side of the head duh
kind of things

For4getting where in the lab I was, I configured the cdp enable on a frame
relay interface when I should have done so on the subinterface.

BTW, you otta see this lab. Frame relay with point-to-point, multipoint, and
straight interface all having to talk to eachother via OSPF and RIP. Nasty!
