Hello, Could someone kindly explain the whole DTE / DCE thing in relation to setting up a home lab and using routers back to back?
I believe that DTE is male and DCE female, but what are the other differences? When connecting a router to a CSU/DSU, would you always order a DTE cable? Thanks for any help anyone can provide!
