Robert I understand all that - when I type in 'ipx routing ie 5.5.5' on another router (with no other configs) and sh run gives me ipx routing 0005.0005.0005 which is what I want. I am asking why does it do this and is there a way around this? I dont like IPX, but the lab beckons me...
