Please do the following:
. Prepare the smallest input file which exhibits the problem.
. Remove missfont.log again. Say
KPATHSEA_DEBUG=-1 latex your_file &> your_file.kpathsea
. Say
bzip2 your_file.kpathsea
. Send me your_file.kpathsea.bz2 and your_file.log privately.
