NO and NO, as I already explained. OK, let me repeat. [EMAIL PROTECTED] means tfm, not a physical font, starts with foo. Physical fonts can be anything, ttf, ttc, otf, but not pfb, due to the encoding limitation. Suppose I have a line [EMAIL PROTECTED]@ unicode :1:bar.ttc in cid-x.map and a line foo30 unicode baz.otf in one of my map file, then tfm files foo00 -- foo2f, foo31 -- fooff, and foo0100 -- foo10ff will be mapped to the face 1 of bar.ttc (TrueType Collection), while kana glyphs in foo30.tfm will be mapped to baz.otf (CFF/Type1 based OpenType). > My idea is for updmap to check if a font name (foo) > starts with > something listed in cid-x.map (foo@), and if so, > omit it from the > regular map file. Then I have to prepare thousands of VF files, instead of a few lines in map files. > Best, > Karl Regards, SMiyata -------------------------------------- Protect Your PC Now ! - 0 yen Security Campaign http://pr.mail.yahoo.co.jp/premium/ _______________________________________________ Cjk maillist - [email protected] https://lists.ffii.org/mailman/listinfo/cjk
