I don't understand (but there is no need to explain). However, that is
certainly not anything I want to have happen.
Given your msg, I no longer plan to make any changes, since it's obvious
I don't have enough background to do a good job. If you, as a group,
come up with a patch that improves things in a way that is acceptable to
all concerned I'll happily apply it.
