David, I have also noticed database issues after upgrading CCA. Since we have HA CAMs, this is what I did last time I upgraded.
I performed a clean install of the new version on one of the CAMS, using new ip addresses. I manually configured the new CAM to match the old one. I then deleted CASs from the old CAM. Upgraded the CASs, & added them to the new CAM. Finally, I did a clean install on the old CAM and setup HA again. Since I did this, I have not seen any database issues or other "weirdness". Note: To perform a clean install, "nuke" the hard drive first. In my experience, the CCA installer does not delete all old files. But in this case this one machine appears in the activity logs about 20 times in one day, and over the past several days. But had 0 Entries in the reports. I have opened a TAC Case on this and they are wondering if the Clicking on the X of the client verses Cancel is causing the error. However, I could not duplicate it on a machine that I test with under either condition. Random still seems to be a key word here. TAC is still looking..... I personally think it is because we had so many records stored out there that since the database had been upgraded from 4.1.3 to 4.1.6 it got glitched. We may end up killing the report history before this is all said and done. By the way, don't try setting the number of reports to 0 (assumed to be infinite) it actually deletes them all..... Yuk....
