As you mention, mod_headers handles this - and we will clearly document it.

Note that this header IS NOT generated by ASP.NET.  The header you expect
is a product of IIS.  As Microsoft didn't choose to trigger this header as
part of ASP.NET, it wouldn't be appropriate to set it in mod_aspdotnet.

Yes - it's useful and we should clearly document how to cause it to be set.
In fact, does it make sense to handle/get_aspx_ver.aspx, as we handle the
client .js elements with rewrite?
