You're probably right. I'll try and knock something up this weekend that demonstrates the basic concepts. Regarding compatibility with Ivy and Maven, that should be relatively straightforward. There could be a gateway server that transforms the metadata from the Maven repository into whatever format Clod will use. I'm also wondering whether or not I could construct a package manager that operates from within the REPL.
