On my centreboard 35-3 CB there is a dedicated self tailer for the board hoist, with a clutch. Up wind that winch becomes the tensioner for the cunningham . Downwind the cunningham is released and the winch reverts back to its original task of raising the board. Works well since these actions are sequential and performed almost instantly by the main trimmer. Harold Celtic Spirit Hamilton, ON
