I hang the CaCl in nylon stockings over big buckets in the v-berth, head, and salon.
Cut nylon in half, fill each leg 1/2 way, lasts about a month and no worries about overflow. Plus my girlfriend loves it when I use her nylons for stuff like that. Someone mentioned mold/mildew formation. I used to get that but don't now that I wash the interior with a diluted bleach solution before I put the boat away for winter.
