I have a plotter at the helm of my 35 MK I. It faces aft, if I want to navigate from forward, like I do about 90% of the time, I look at the computer on the chart table or SeaIQ/Navionics on my iPad. If I rotated the helm plotter sideways I think the mainsheet would get it.
