I completely agree with you and Bertrand: Cocoon have already so much stuffs and it wouldn't be a good solution to add this type of feature.
So I need a scheduler app writing in Java because I want to keep independance with OS (my server runs on Windows but I could change this). This scheduler have to provide a way to call an URL. Any suggestions or experiences? Python has very good support for HTTP. I'm not convinced that Cocoon needs such a beast, when so much mature functionality is available at the OS level.
