        There's been discussion about adding something like an /x command to the IRCu 
code.  But it's something which has to be thought about carefuly, since it 
would have to take into account the possiblilty of future expansion of the 
CSC services, ie atm we only have a single service online, in future we may 
have more again.

        I don't see why an oper would need to be able to add their own commands.  If 
other networks want to use ircu as a base and have their own commands, they 
can maintain their own tree based on ircu...which some networks already do.
