Sorry Morgan, I was not clear at all. What I meant is that the effort that gave shape to what the commons-logging now is only happened after the Avalon stuff was already mature.
I was not clear at all and did not even used any ironic or sarcastic expression that would hint at what I wanted to say: - The Avalon stuff was already done when the commons stuff was still a bad draft. Sorry, my mind is not so focused on Jakarta stuff at the moment.
