http://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=32360 ------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2005-10-31 20:52 ------- The analogy is fallacious. None of the so-called non-standard options to the javac compiler change the language in spec in any way. What's being proposed here is more like a switch that allowed undeclared variables to be automatically typed as ints or not requiring semicolons at the end of the line. Ditto for enuma nd other langauge changes made in Java 5. These are additons to a new version of the language. They should not and are not allowed in a compiler for earlier versions of the langauge. JXPath claims to implement XPath 1.0. It should do so, not implement some other language that is congfusingly simialr but not the same as XPath 1.0. -- Configure bugmail: http://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug, or are watching the assignee. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
