I know I haven't been completely clear on everything I have been doing, but my recent activities have been with the unknown machine. I only have one PRAM battery at the moment, because when the one went bad, I tested all of the others and found that all 3 were dead. The lone good battery I have now is the "cowboy battery," as you put it. It registeres 4.65v, and the best dead battery I have is ~3.5 volts. I certainly hope I didn't hose anything when I put the battery in upside down. I'm going to open the two machines soon (maybe tonight) and look around for fried hardware. I'm also going to try my third Plus (another unknown) to see what happens with that one. I'll post more info tonight or tomorrow. :) I appreciate all of the support and assistance.
