All this reminiscing makes me think I might be one of the older members of this list, even though I'm pretty new here. Prior to college, my only real contact with computers was a VIC20 my parents bought. I could write a program to display my name on the screen!!! I was invincible. My university required each student to buy a Mac. We had three choices - the best being the SE/30. She's the one I chose. And I paid over $4000 for her. I had to take a Pascal course, too. I hated it. Sorry. I wasn't quite as excited about viruses either. But we had Disinfectant back then. Thanks, John Norstad. As far as the sound of the HD... When I recently (4 months ago or so) started up my baby, the sound brought back a flood of memories. Thanks, Apple. -js __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Yahoo!
