Well, I can't answer all your questions, but I do have a couple of ideas.

Clorox is a standard, household/laundry bleach. The label on the jug of 
"Ultra Clorox Regular" from my laundry room says that it is a 6% 
solution of sodium hypochlorite.

I clean keycaps in a basin with a warm solution of "Spic and Span", a 
common multi-purpose household cleaner. I use an old toothbrush to scrub 
off the accumulated fingertip oils, pizza drippings, and spilled Jolt 
cola. This works well on keyboard frames and mouse cases, too.

As for the CC, I'd find that case-modder and swap cases - nothing is 
going to remove those engravings.
