Perhaps, but it's very difficult (read: the government will come looking for you if you do) to get any sort of peroxides in concentrations greater than about 10%. To make matters worse, H2O2 is highly unstable and must be stored in a dark refrigerator to maintain its concentration, which degrades over time even in the best of conditions. That stuff you buy in the grocery store that's 3% in water might be about 1% after a year in your medicine cabinet. Even the slightest impurities will result in spontaneous degradation of the peroxide to the extent that a few grains of sand can destroy the better part of a bottle of the stuff. Basically, I wouldn't mess with liquid H2O2 solutions. OxyClean might be useful, but I wouldn't bet my life on it. Hey, Adam, you should try some of that Sard Wonder on one. Let it sit for a couple weeks and then wash it off and see if it did anything. (Sard Wonder is the most amazing stain removal product I've ever seen. It's a white goop about the consistency of hard butter that comes in a tube, and it's made from eucalyptus oil, among other things. Doesn't take the colours out of fabrics, but manages to remove stains like nobody's business. I bought three tubes before I left Australia because I knew no one sold it here in the US.) -- the pickle FAQ <http://macfaq.org/index.shtml> Software Archive <ftp://download:[EMAIL PROTECTED]//Users/thepickl/Sites/Archive/> <http://www.members.jmug.org/%7Ethepickl/archive/> _________________________________________________________________ -- Compact Macs is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/>.
