At work, we had a nice lab. An Apple Lisa (got the Mac when it came out later), Amiga (already did graphics and true pre-emptive multitasking), then one of the first IBM PCs. I don't know how much that cost, but it had *two* cases. A *huge* cable connected the two, and there was an additional hard disk in the second one.
