[EMAIL PROTECTED] changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Status|ASSIGNED |NEEDINFO ------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2003-03-09 19:48 ------- OK, can you try to put: default-mru instead of mru 1524 in your options file? This will tell PPP to ignore the mru settings that gnome-ppp asks for. It seems that gnome-ppp has 296 hardcoded into the binary, and for whatever reason, changing it in the settings doesn't work. Then, I'll need both the /var/log/messages and the other /var/log entries so I can debug the LCP requests. Sorry, I wish I could do it myself, but I can't duplicate it, as for me, a mru of 296 works just fine, it's only a problem with some ISPs. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is. ------- Reminder: ------- assigned_to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] status: NEEDINFO creation_date: description: I had to install KPPP to connect to the internet over a modem. Gnome RPM should either work, or KPPP should be installed by default instead.
